Ronald B. Due VanBoxel, age 65 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont following a short illness. Ronald was born on April 25, 1949 in Munising, Michigan to Peter and Roberta (Cartwright) VanBoxel and later married Loy Marie Smith on October 30, 1993 in White Cloud. Ron had worked at the Grand Rapids Foam Technology for 20 years until his retirement in 2013. Ron enjoyed tinkering at his home and especially treasured the time spent with his wife, Loy and his children and grandchildren. Ron was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in White Cloud and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Ron is survived by his wife, Loy of White Cloud; his children, Amanda (Josh) Clark of Kentwood; Brandon (Chloe Liang) Bronkhorst of St. Louis Park, Minnesota; and Micquaya VanBoxel of Newaygo; his grandchildren, Caya Marie Clark; Cameron Clark; Caleb Clark; and Midge Olmeda; brothers and sisters, Peter (Kathleen) VanBoxel of White Cloud; Johanna (Leon) Graham of High Springs, Florida; Katie (John) Hammond of Brooksville, Florida; LeRoy (Rhonda) VanBoxel of White Cloud; brothers-in-law, Joseph Denney of Newaygo; Lyle Thompson of Bailey; several nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Roberta VanBoxel; and by his sisters, Peggy Denney; Wanda Flourney, Debra Morris, Ann Thompson; and his brother, James VanBoxel. VISITATION : Friday, December 19, 2014 from 4-6pm at the New Life Assembly of God Church in White Cloud 1229 East 40th Street with FUNERAL SERVICES at 6pm at the New Life Assembly of God Church.
