Ronald Dale Ball Sr., age 67 of Newaygo, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial in Fremont. Dale was born on September 9, 1943, to Fred and Florence Ball and had worked as a tool and die casting specialist. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and hunting for mushrooms. Dale is survived by his children, Jeannie (Donald) Sage of Grant, Rhonda (Darrel) Arney of Newaygo, Sherry (Dale) Bulk of Newaygo, Ronald Dale (Isabelle Campos) Ball Jr. of Grand Rapids, Fred (Paula Folkema) Ball of Newaygo, and Carl (Sarah) Ball of Newaygo; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister and brothers, Barbara (Don) Hurst of Howard City, Jerry Ball of Newaygo, Larry (Sue) Ball of Newaygo, Gary (Elaine) Ball of Newaygo; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister in law, Diane Ball. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, from 6-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud with funeral services on Thursday, at 11am at the funeral home chapel.
