Ronald Henry Dagen, age 87 of Bridgeton Township, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Mercy Health Partners Sherman Campus in Muskegon. Ron was born on December 8, 1933 in Bridgeton Township to Harold and Ruth (Smith) Dagen and attended Fremont High School. Ron met and married Delores Halverson on May 30, 1959 in Grant. Ron worked as an auto body technician for many years for Wayne Scott in Fremont, Herman's in Ravenna and later worked at his home until his final retirement. Ron enjoyed trout fishing, spending summers and vacations in the Newberry area and deer hunting throughout the years. Ron is survived by his wife of 62 years, Delores of Bridgeton; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Malinda) Barnhard; Kraig Barnhard; Tanya (Sean) Smith; Kayla Barnhard; his brother-in-law, Vic Halverson of Bridgeton. Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Majeski; his father, Harold Dagen and his sister-in-law, Tina Halverson. Private graveside services will be held at the Bridgeton Township Cemetery following Ron's wishes for cremation.
