Ronald James Hills, "Jim", age 87, of White Cloud passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019. Jim was born on September 7, 1932, to Angelo and Hazel June (Longley) Hills and married Pauline Ohman on August 23, 1952, in Hesperia. He retired from Gerber Products after over 40 years of service and worked weekends at Sherman Hardware. He was a member of the Hesperia United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping, wood working, rock hunting, long walks, and fishing on the Two Hearted River with his family in the Upper Peninsula.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Pauline; children, Jodi (Jeff) Hills-Church of Fremont and Christine (Mike) Hills-Davis of Ludington; grandchildren, Mandy (Winston) Hills, Amy (Josh) Perks, Zack (Emily) Hills, and Dominique Vandenheval; great grandchildren, Georgia, Savanah, Bryer, Finley, and Bow; and brother, Robert James (Imelda) Hills of Georgia. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald James hills Jr.; sisters, Martha June Hills and Nancy Dore; and brother, Donald James Hills.
A Celebration of Life for Jim will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at the Gerber Union Hall starting at 2 PM. (5960 South Warner Ave. Fremont, Michigan 49412) The family asks that everyone wear their Stormy Kromer Cap on Sunday. For a more lasting memorial, friends are asked to consider the Susan P.
