Ronald Eugene Klammer, age 76, of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his home. Ron was born on September 17, 1936 in Battle Creek to Albert and Thelma (Reed) Klammer and has celebrated 43 years of marriage to Judy Kathryn McCumber. Ron had worked for Grand Trunk Railway and later was an insurance salesman. He had driven bus for the White Cloud School Systems and proudly served his country as a Captain in the Army Reserves. Ron enjoyed gunsmithing, target shooting, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ron is survived by his wife, Judy of White Cloud; children, Sherrie Lynn (Mike) Vander Sloot of White Cloud, Scott Harding of Rockford, Georgina Klammer of Illinois, Jasmine Klammer, Vernon Klammer, Alexus Klammer, Aaliyah Klammer, Dontay Klammer, and Tanayah Klammer; grandchildren, Ken (Gwen) Barrett, Paul (Nicole) Barrett, Casey Barrett, Aubrey Damstra, Justin Gilmore, Ashley Vanwingen, and Jeremiah Harding; great grandchildren, Cyris, Christofer, Dane, Nathan, Ashlyn, peyton, Berayedah Lynn, and Kaden. Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Dick Klammer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 1 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud.
