Ronald E. Sartwell, age 67, of Fremont passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at his home in Fremont. Ron was born on August 15, 1941, in Fremont, to Ronald and Burnetta (Doud) Sartwell and married Charlene Fairchild Rumsey on August 8, 1986. Ron had worked at Sealed Power in Muskegon for over 30 years and was a member of the Community Fellowship Church. Ron is survived by his wife, Charlene of Fremont; children, Annette (Randy) Potter of Grand Haven and Dale Sartwell of Fremont; stepchildren, Cheryl (Rodger) Engle of White Cloud, Cindy (Mark) Burrell of Hesperia, and Jeff (Lori) Rumsey of Hesperia; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Gale (Jackie) Sartwell of Hesperia and Barry Sartwell of Hesperia; sisters, Eula Mae Booher of Hesperia and Astra (Larry) Anderson of Hesperia; former wife, Jacquelyn (Ron) Overbeek of West Olive; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Willis Sartwell. Memorial services were held at 1pm, Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the Community Fellowship Church in Ashland Township with Pastor Mike King officiating.
