Ronald Bruce Schaefer, Jr., age 59 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at his home. Ron was born on June 11, 1964 in Grant, Michigan to Ronald and Ria (Lueken) Schaefer Sr. and later moved to Illinois and then to Wisconsin. Ron met and later married Kimberly Gabardy on July 31, 2002 in Crowne Pointe, Indiana and they moved to Wisconsin and later moved to the White Cloud area in 2016. Ron had been a certified marine mechanic, worked as a pipefitter with the Labors Union in Chicago, Illinois and later owned and operated his own asphalt and sealcoating business and owned and operated his own automotive mechanic business for several years until his retirement. Ron was known for his cooking abilities, enjoyed building car engines and classic cars, motorcycle riding, had been a semi professional drag boat racer, enjoyed fishing, hunting and listening to music as well as a music historian. Ron is survived by his wife, Kim of White Cloud; his children, Joseph (significant other, Morgan) Rauch of Birchwood, Wisconsin; Brian Schaefer of White Cloud; his father, Ronald (Betsy) Schaefer Sr. of Kenosha, Wisconsin; his brother, Kristopher Schaefer; his sister, Jennie Schaefer; several nieces and nephews.
