Ronald Amos Vanderboegh,  age 85 years of Twin Lake, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday afternoon January 20, 2025.

He was born at his Grandparents home in Cedar Creek Township on January 18, 1940.  His parents were Amos and Verna (Medbury) Vanderboegh of Holton, Michigan.

After graduating from Holton High School in 1959 he worked for American Store Equipment (AMSTORE) in Muskegon, Michigan.  He held many supervisory positions both in the Wood and Metal Department.    He retired with 44 ½ years of service from their Coopersville facility.

Ron was a master carpenter and  created many works of art for his family, friends and church.  He served his Lord in a quiet way by sharing his talent with others.  He was an active member of the Holton Methodist Church from a young age.  Later in life he also enjoyed carving with the Orchard View Carving Club, meeting with the Breakfast Club and fun with the Portside Model A's.  He enjoyed time with his family and friends, restoring his antique automobiles, carving, camping, and working on many different projects.  He was a man that enjoyed people and it showed.

On July 2, 1960, he married the love of his life, Zola Osborne.

They had three children Vicki (Fritz) Hawes, Steven (Roberta) Vanderboegh and Connie (Brian) Bruursema and six grandchildren, Levi (Shelby Howland) Hawes, Ashley Vanderboegh, Adam (Taylor) Hawes, Joshua Bruursema, Alex Vanderboegh, Mikalia (Kelvin) Johnson and six great-grandchildren.  Sister-in-law Julie Vanderboegh, Nephew's  Leo Dalton and Jack Vanderboegh, and Niece MinSuk Dalton.
