Ronald Rudolph Zenk of Hesperia, Michigan, passed away on August 13, 2026 at the Brook of Newaygo. Ron was born on September 18, 1935 in Howard City to Benjamin and June (Griffes) Zenk. Ron served in the U.S. Army and later married Shirley France on November 12, 1966. She preceded him in death on June 2, 2019. Ron Worked for White Cloud Products and Howmet Aerospace in White Hall where he retired. Ron attended Country Bible Church and Hesperia Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, wood working, putting puzzles together and spending time with family.
Ron is survived by his children, Charles E. and Cathy France from Deltona, Florida, Sheila and Barry Flinton from White Cloud, Margie and Brad Harrald from Hesperia, Sandy and John Tennesen from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Wanda Louzon from Wolf Lake, Barb and Kevin Barnhard from Muskegon, 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and his brother Kenneth Zenk of Fremont. Ron is preceded by his parents, Benjamin and June (Griffis) Zenk, sisters, Doris Gardenour, and Mary Cornett, and brothers, Erwin Zenk, Bernard Zenk, Arnold Zenk, and Gene Zenk.
A Visitation for Ron will be held on Thursday, August 20 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Country Bible Church located at 3145 W 24th St, Fremont, MI 49412 with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. After the Funeral Service, there will be a graveside service held at East Hesperia Cemetery that all are welcome to. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions are made to the Newaygo County Compassion Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel.
