Rosa Marie Johnson, age 39 of Twin Lake, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 following her battle with cancer. Rosa was born on January 8, 1982 in Holton to Ron and Sylvia (Vallejo) Slater and graduated from Holton High School in 2000. Rosa later graduated from Ferris State College where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Rosa met and married Dan Johnson on June 9, 2012 in Montague and has been a resident of the Twin Lake area for the past 3 years. Rosa was an Engineering Manager at GHSP in Holland and was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church in Brunswick. Rosa enjoyed reading, traveling, camping but especially treasured the time she spent with her family. Rosa is survived by her husband, Dan of Twin Lake; her children, Jase, Grant and Emmella Johnson; her parents, Ron and Sylvia Slater of Holton; maternal grandmother, Amelia Vallejo of Fremont; her brothers and sister, Ronnie (fiancé-Amber) Slater of Holton; Mike Slater of Hesperia; Randy (Marci) Slater of Fremont; Lawrence (Brittany) Slater of Holton; Amanda (Josh) Giddings of Holton; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sally and Daniel Johnson of Conklin; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws. Rosa was preceded in death by her brother, Ben Slater.
