Rosalee Gravelle, age 58 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, January 7, 2002 at her home following a long illness. She was born on March 26, 1943 in Hamilton County, Indiana to John and Lillian (Dodson) Dilks and married Ted Gravelle on March 24, 1979 in Fremont. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted on May 12, 2001 and a daughter Jan Abke on March 19,1998. Rosalee had been the assistant manager at Factory Surplus Sales in White Cloud for over 10 years until her retirement in 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Deanna (Mark) Delia of Newaygo; Linda (Ron) Amshey of Ada; Vickie (Ed) Fransen of Rockford; sons Mike Gravelle of Gowen; John (Joyce) Gravelle of Spring Lake; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; her mother, Lillain Curtis of Kalamazoo; brother, Charles (Marty) Hershman of Victorville, CA; sisters, Juanita (Jack) Webb of Carrizo Springs, TX; Evelyn Curtis of Kalamazoo; Marjory (Robert) Shier of Rockford; Shirley Getzen of Rockford; step brothers, Ralph (Dorothy) Curtis of Grand Rapids; Gary (Kathy) Curtis of Sand Lake; Al (Phyllis) Curtis of Kalamazoo; step sisters, Sue Jackson of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Merle Sebastian of Fremont. Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 10, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. Jerry Jacket presiding with interment in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in White Cloud. Friends may consider the American Cancer Society for memorial contributions.
