Carlson, Rose Rose M. Carlson, age 81 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2000 at the Spectrum Health Services in Grand Rapids. She was born on February 11, 1919 in Bay Port, Minnesota to Elmer and Zelma (Katusky) Dimmick and has been a longtime resident of the White Cloud area. She had worked as a waitress for many years and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her children, Donna (Jim) Potter of Grand Rapids; Melvin L. Kitterman of Canada; Delores (Darryl) Olesen of Midlothian, Illinois; Sharon (Bob) Dobert of Chilly, Wisconsin; Donald (Linda) Ledbeter of Spokane, Washington; Linda (Larry) Froemel of Hayward, Wisconsin; Bruce (Vicki) Ledbeter of Carson, Washington; Dennis (Kashia) Carson of Holland; Carl (Pam) Carson of White Cloud; Greg (Carolyn) Carson of Princeton, West Virginia; 42 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jerome Edward Dimmick and two sisters, Voilet Dimmick and Hazel Smith. Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 11, 2000 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Rev. Jerry Jaquish of the White Cloud United Methodist Church presiding with interment in Minnesota. Friends may consider the Frederick Meijer Gardens or the Charity of donors choice for memorial contributions.
