Rose Marie Pletcher, age 86, of Hesperia passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Mercy Health Partners in Muskegon. Rose was born on October 20, 1928, in Flint to Edwin T. and Tinsie (Ostrom) Olson and later married Vern L. Pletcher. Rose worked at Gerber Products Company for many years and cherished her time with her family, enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and game shows. Rose is survived by her children, Dan (Ella Rae) Pletcher of Hesperia, Sue Pletcher of Hesperia, Vicky J. Pletcher of Hesperia, Lisa L. Elliott of Hesperia; Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Jean Huffman of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern; son and daughter, Derek Pletcher and Lori Dutcher; brothers and sisters, Ray, Thelma, Esther, and Richard. There will be a Celebration of Life for Rose from 2 4 PM on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at the Hesperia American Legion.
