Rose E. Skipper, age 72 of Grand Rapids, formerly of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Sanctuary at St. Marys Nursing Center in Grand Rapids. Rose was born on May 31, 1943 in White Cloud to Stanley and Francis (Dudeck) Kosla and later married T.J. Skipper. T.J. preceded her in death. Rose has been a lifelong resident of the Grand Rapids area but grew up in White Cloud and graduated from White Cloud High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, flower gardening and fishing. Rose is survived by her son, Tullie (Michelle) Skipper of Comstock Park; her grandchildren, Collin, Ashley; her sisters and brother, Helen (Robert) Windver of Owosso, Michigan; Josie (Mike) Detmers of Grand Rapids; Ed (Penny) Kosla of White Cloud; sister-in-law, June Kosla of White Cloud; many nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her brothers, Tony Kosla, Joe Kosla, and John Kosla; her sisters, Carol Luehrs and Mary Anna Kosla. VISITATION : Wednesday from 11-12pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel (1109 Court St. White Cloud MI 49349) with GRAVESIDE SERVICES : 12pm at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in White Cloud.
