Rosemary H. Geeting, age 97 of Fremont, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Rosemary was born on October 15, 1917 in Blue Island, Illinois to Joseph Francis and Clara (Jaglowitz) Gerdes and moved to Fremont in 1943 from Blue Island, Illinois. Rosemary married Paul C. Geeting in 1959 in Fremont. Paul preceded her in death in 1989. Rosemary had worked at Gerber Products for many years as a lab technician until her retirement in 1977. Rosemary was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont and enjoyed painting, quilting, cooking and was well known for her sewing skills. Rosemary treasured her time spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Rosemary is survived by her children, Judith Bulson of Fremont; Jean Nita of Chicago; Joan (Robert) Robart of Newaygo; Jill Clarno of Houston, Texas; Susan Wolf of Oregon; Gerald Geeting of Fremont; Paul (Gary) Doig of Muskegon; Kay Ann Fairfield of Muskegon; 21 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; her sister, Ruth Eversmeyer of Virginia; her brother, Leo (Suzanne) Gerdes of Phoenix, Arizona; several nieces and nephews. Rosemary was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Geeting; her great granddaughter, Kristina Clarno; great grandson, Robert Hurst; brothers and sisters, Joseph Gerdes; Gerald Gerdes; Jane Lynch; Kelly Lynch; Grace Lynch; son-in-law, Charles Nita. MEMORIAL MASS OF RESSURRECTION SERVICES : Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 3pm at the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont with a VISITATION TIME from 1-3 at the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont. INTERMENT : Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Fremont. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
