Rudolph J. Rudy Fleege, age 70 of Baldwin, passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at his home. Rudy was born on July 21, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Rudolph William and Elsie F. (Buettner) Fleege. Rudy had been the physical plant facilities manager at the Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa for many years until his retirement. Rudy moved from Storm Lake, Iowa to the Baldwin area in 2010 where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, being in the Michigan outdoors and reading. Rudy is survived by his sisters, Sandra Lynn Bilar of Medinah, Illinois; his nieces, Chantale (Jason) Shea and Kristin Bilar; his cousins, Carolyn Lyons of Hesperia; Father Larry Kaiser of Detroit; Diane Fisher; Kathy Buettner, Margie Buettner, Tom Buettner; special friends, Randy and Jane Fehr and Mrs. Bernice Fehr. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 2- 4pm and 6-8pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 10:30am at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Father Larry Kaiser presiding. Interment will be in the Lincoln Township Cemetery. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Mercy Hospice of Cadillac in memory of Rudy.
