Russell C. Rusty Johnson Jr., age 47 of Holton, passed too soon from this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in Richfield, Wisconsin. Rusty was born on April 5, 1965 in Muskegon to Russell C. and Linda (Proctor) Johnson Sr. Rusty started work at Beattie Farms at an early age and then started with LubeCon in Fremont, where he traveled throughout the United States and eventually settled in Wisconsin where he has been a resident for the past 18 years. Rusty owned and operated Rustys Pub and Grub in Richfield, Wisconsin and had just sold his business and moved back to Holton. Rusty enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and was a regular attendee at Sturgis motorcycle rally and was a member of the HOG chapter in Milwaukee. Rusty had enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in his younger years, was a friend to everyone he met and always enjoyed visiting with friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He attended the Cedar Creek Alliance Chapel. SURVIVORS : his children, Andrew Hall of Long Island City, New York; Kaylyn (Nick) Buckner and their children, Natalie and Makenzie of Ludington; Ashley (Robert) Sholty and their children, Ian and Haylie of Holton; his mother and father, Russell and Linda Johnson Sr. of Holton; his sisters, Kim (Jim) Stariha of Fremont; Kris (Bruce) Saum of Fremont; paternal grandmother, Effie Johnson of Muskegon; nieces and nephews, Taira Stariha and Tyler Stariha; Jacob (Amanda) Saum and Jessica Saum; several great nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. VISITATION : Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5-8pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Friday, January 4, 2013 at 1pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel.
