Christensen, Russell Russell Christensen, age 91 of Holton, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2004 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Russell was born on November 2, 1912 in Holton Township to John and Lydia (Lewis) Christensen and has been a lifelong resident of the Holton area where he was a farmer. He is survived by his children, Katie Christensen of Muskegon; Peter Christensen of Indiana; 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild. step son, Jol Dollaway of Indiana; his sister, Helen (Brownie) Norkus of Fremont. Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 16, 2004 from the Crandlell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev. Bertram Vermuelen presiding with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery in Holton.
