Russell E. Harris, Sr., age 98 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital following a short illness. Russ was born on December 19, 1922 in Goodwell Township to Frank and Nellie (Stubbs) Harris and has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud Area. Russ married Joyce Wolever and she preceded him in death on March 24, 1997. Russ had owned and operated a house moving business, which he truly enjoyed, for many years and enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a member of the White Cloud Eagles. Russ is survived by his children, Russell (Arkie) Harris Jr. of Lake Station, Michigan; Judy (Doug) Green of White Cloud; JoAnn Harris of Lake Station, Michigan; Alan Atwood; several grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; his daughters, Jane and Nancy Tanis; his son, Alan Harris; his granddaughter, Jessica; his grandson, Mike Harris Services are pending at this time and will be announced later with a memorial gathering to be held in the spring or summer of 2022.
