Russell "Russ" R. Jones, age 53 of Bridgeton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Manistique, Michigan. Russ was born on May 1, 1963 in Fremont to Zane and Myrtle (Parrott) Jones and has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area. Russ was an owner/operator truck driver, currently leasing to Midwest Direct Transport in Coopersville. Russ married Jody L. Moseler on March 3, 1988 in White Cloud and together Russ and Jody had just celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary. Russ enjoyed the Michigan outdoors-hunting, fishing, boating, camping; enjoyed riding and fixing his Harley motorcycle; enjoyed trucking. He especially treasured the time he spent with his daughters and grandchildren.

Russ is survived by his wife, Jody of Bridgeton; his children, Holly Ann Jones of Bridgeton; Bobbi Lynn (fiancé, Matt Osburn) Jones of Hesperia; Desiraye Marie Jones of Bridgeton; Russell R.Z. Jones Jr. of Muskegon; Annie M. Fleese of Muskegon; grandchildren, Robbie Raymond and Aaron Russell TerBeek as well as several other grandchildren; his parents, Zane and Myrtle Jones of Fremont; his sisters, Robin (Terry) Booth; Kitty (Glenn) Durham; his mother-in-law, Judith Koole of Bay City; his sister-in-law, Kim Rynberg of Grand Rapids; brother-in-law, Russell Moseler of Bay City; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Ann Jones in 1994.

VISITATION : Friday, April 7, 2017 from 12-2pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel (7193 W 48th Street Fremont MI 49412) FUNERAL SERVICES : Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel.
