Sinkler, Russell R. Russell R. Sinkler, age 82 of Allegan, formerly of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the Metron of Allegan Nursing Home in Allegan. Russell was born on July 28, 1922 in Hastings, Michigan to Clarence Jefferson and Jesabelle (Nicholas) Sinkler and later married Edna Norwood on March 3, 1974 in Otsego. Edna preceded him in death on February 9, 1993. Russell moved to the White Cloud area in 1976 and enjoyed fixing small engines and hunted and fished during his younger years. He also played the violin in a band and played a great Irish jig. He is survived by his children, Robert (Sue) Sinkler of Allegan; Clarence J. Sinkler of Allegan; Barbara Ann Jones of Muskegon; Thomas Russell Sinkler of Paris, Michigan; Edna D. Kelly of West Plains, Missouri; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial services were held at the Gordon Funeral Home in Allegan following cremation. Friends may consider the Russell Sinkler Family for memorial contributions.
