Ruth Ida Golden, age 80 of Hesperia, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2002 at her home. She was born on August 5, 1921 in Levitt Township, Oceana County to John Joseph and Lillie (Griswold) Wambaugh and married Carl B. Golden on August 5, 1940. Carl preceded her in death on August 8, 1994. Ruth has been a resident of the Hesperia Area since 1943 and had worked at Gerber Products Company as a production worker. Ruth is survived by her children, Lee (Sheri) Golden of Hesperia; Verena Leone of Hesperia; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; her sister, Olive Smith of Hesperia; a niece, Shirley Trudell of Hesperia. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph, Norman, Guy, Ornan and Russell and 1 sister, Muriel. Funeral Memorial Services were held on Saturday, January 26, 2002 at 2:00pm from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel.
