Oosting, Ruth Margaret Ruth Margaret Oosting, age 97 of Fremont , passed away Sunday, November 24, 2002 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont . She was born on June 5, 1905 in Fremont to Jacob and Gertrude (Dykman) Oosting and graduated from Fremont High School . She has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area where she was a member of the First Reformed Church in Fremont where she played the organ and piano for many years as well as sang in the choir. She had been a sales associate at Graichens Clothing Store for 64 years until her retirement. She is survived by her nephews, Dr. James R. Oosting of Alto; John W. Oosting of Ketchum , Idaho ; sister-in-law, Mrs. James Oosting of Grand Rapids ; several great nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine Fowler, her brother, James Oosting and sister-in-law, Mary Oosting. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont .
