Ruth Strouse, age 58 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, August 14, 2000, at her home in White Cloud. She was born on November 26, 1941 to Daniel William and Mildred Elizabeth (Bossidett) Cooley. She was the widow of Merlin Strouse and was retired from the United States Armed Forces where she served in the United States Navy. She is survived by her sister, Carol Tolar of Howard City; her brother, Daniel Cooley of Ann Arbor. Funeral memorial services were held at a later time.
