Sadie Westenfelder, age 90 of Twin Lake, passed away Sunday evening, June 10, 2001 at her home. She was born on July 24, 1910 in Newaygo County to Edward and Carrie (Reiger) Trumbley and married Durand N. Westenfelder on March 25, 1929 in Muskegon. Durand preceded her in death on September 21, 1987. She has been a long time resident of Twin Lake where she had been a member of the Twin Lake United Methodist Church for over 60 years and over a 50 year member of the Birthday Club of Twin Lake. She was also a graduate of Fremont High School Class of 1928. She is survived by her children, Donald Westenfelder of Muskegon; Jerry (Elsie) Westenfelder of Twin Lake; 3 daughters, Evelyn (Jerry) Borreson of Twin Lake; Carolyn (Einar) Ness of Muskegon; Olga (Arnold) Richmond of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 13, 2001 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
