Sally Ann Jordan, age 69 of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Transitional Health Services following her battle with cancer. Sally was born on February 29, 1948 (leap year) in Fremont to David Edward and Anna (Sahlin) Jordan and graduated from Grant High School in 1966. Sally worked at Old Kent Bank in Grand Rapids for a short time and then started work at Gerber Products Company in the data processing department until 1996 when she moved to Captiva Island, Florida where she worked at South Seas Resort until Hurricane Charlie destroyed the area in 2004 and then moved back to Fremont. Sally was a member of the Fremont Wesleyan Church and the Women of the Moose, Lodge #401 in Fremont. Enjoyed traveling, photography, had been active in church activities including the church directory and Snowflake ministry; enjoyed knitting and crocheting and spending time with her family and nieces and nephews.

Sally is survived by her son, Murry Dayton Stocking of Fremont; her grandson, Murry David Jimenez of Fremont; her sister, Marjorie (David) Ekkel of Fremont; her nephew, Chad (Melinda) Ekkel and children, Ethan, Makayla, and Seth of Fremont; her niece, Lisa (Mitchell) Erickson and children, Jillian and Cole of Hopkins. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, David in 2010 and Anna in 2016.

VISITATION : Monday, March 27, 2017 from 12-1pm at the Fremont Wesleyan Church (918 Garden Ave Fremont MI 49412) with MEMORIAL SERVICES at 1pm at the church. INTERMENT : Maple Grove Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : ACS Hope Lodge in Grand Rapids.
