Obituary

Sandra Dailey, age 60 of Hesperia, passed away Friday, April 13, 2001 at her home following a lingering illness. She was born on May 24, 1940 in Dayton Center, Michigan to Sidney D. and Margaret J. (Dykman) Parketon Jr. and married James D. Dailey on June 30, 1956 in Fremont. She was a graduate of the Fremont Public Schools and received her associates degree in accounting from Baker College in Muskegon.. She had had been a social worker for the Family Independence Agency in Newaygo County for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia. She is survived by her husband, James W. Dailey; her children, Sue Dailey of Fremont; Mary (Wayne) Veenstra of Holton; Lee Ann Winegar of Allendale; Tim (Sheri) Dailey of Grant; Perry Dailey of Hart; her mother, Margaret Parketon of Fremont; her sister, Linda (Elwin) Schuyler Jr. of St. Peter, Missouri; Darlene Parketon of Fremont; Beverly Parketon of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney D. Parketon and one brother, Larry Parketon. Funeral services were held on Tuesday April 17, 2001 from Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia with Rev. Father Donn Tufts presiding with interment in the West Hesperia Cemetery. Arrangements by Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont.
