Sandra Valeta Jones, age 42 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at her home. Sandra was born on February 12, 1980 at KI Sawyer Air Force Base in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1998. Sandra joined the United States Navy after graduation where she served aboard the USS Mobile Bay as a Corpsman during the War on Terrorism until her honorable discharge in 2007 as Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class. Sandra has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area and enjoyed her dog, Lilly. She was a member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Muskegon. Sandra is survived by her father, Leonard (Rosemary) Jones Jr. of White Cloud; her mother, Paula L. Evans of White Cloud; her sister, Rebecca (Carl) Ball of Newaygo; her grandmother, Janet Jones of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews and her baby, Lilly. Sandra was preceded in death by her grandparents and her uncle. Private military honors will be given at a later date at the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery following her wishes for cremation.
