Sandra "Sandy" Lee Arrasmith, age 79 of Fremont and formerly of Hesperia, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at her home in Fremont. Sandy was born on February 2, 1939 in Holton to Carl and Arlie (Noble) Gallup and later graduated from Walkerville High School in 1957. Sandy has been a lifelong resident of the area where she had been a supervisor of Consumer Relations at Gerber Products Company for 30 years until her retirement. Sandy married Carl N. Arrasmith on September 11, 1993 and Carl preceded her in death on November 19, 2013. Sandra had been an avid reader, enjoyed cooking with her grandsons, knitting, crocheting, and playing online games – scrabble and puzzles. Sandy especially treasured the time she spent with her family. Sandy is survived by her children, Carla Conley of Fremont; Shannon Conley of Fremont; Jim (Myra) Conley of Hesperia; her grandchildren, Derek Jones, Kyle (Christopher) Jones; Kendall (Elaine) Conley; 2 great grandchildren, Ira Segovia-Jones and Mellis Rain Jones; her sister and brothers, Judy Smith of Fremont; Dick (Sharon) Burrell of Walkerville; Jack Burrell of Hesperia; special niece, Kimberly Smith Wernstrom of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlie DeGroot, her stepfather, Gerritt DeGroot and her brother, Chuck Burrell.
