Sara Lee Miller, age 72 of Holton, formerly of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at her home following a short illness. Sara was born on July 17, 1947 in Grand Haven to Alvin and Marjorie (Mulder) Meeusen and graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1966. Sara met and later married Gary Miller on June 23, 1968 in Grand Haven. Sara had been the General Manager at Leppinks in Ferrysburg for over 20 years until her retirement. Following retirement in 2001, Sara and Gary moved to their retirement property in Holton where they have spent the past 19 years. Sara enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, canoeing, jigsaw puzzles and especially treasured the time she spent with her family. Sara is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gary of Holton; her children, Keith (Emma) Miller of Hesperia; Dena (Cody) Kasinger of Hesperia; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister, Lisa Meeusen; her brothers, Dave (Chris) Meeusen and Jim Meeusen. Following her wishes for cremation, a celebration of life and private gathering will be held at the family home in the summer of 2020.
