Sara Jane Headrick VanBoxel, age 43 of Newaygo, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her home. Sara was born on December 26, 1978 in Grand Rapids to Ronald "Due" VanBoxel and Patricia Ann Lichner and has been a lifelong resident of the area. Sara had been a production worker and enjoyed reading, her dog Nova and was a dedicated and strong worker. Sara is survived by her children, Jade Codi VanBoxel, Anna Marie Spears, Jasmine, Jace, Adrena, Adreann, Leeanna; her brothers, Nathan Lichner of Atlanta, Georgia; Marcus Humphryes of Newaygo; her grandparents, Betty and Bill Anderson of Hesperia; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Hesperia United Methodist Church 187 E.
