Scott A. Latsch, age 31 of Newaygo, passed away following injuries he received in an automobile accident on January 2, 2020. Scott was born on August 1, 1988 in Fremont to William "Bill" and Kathleen "Kitt" (Patton) Latsch and graduated from Newaygo High School in 2006. Scott has been a lifelong resident of the Newaygo area and had been a mechanic at Superior Transmission in Cedar Springs. Scott treasured the time he spent with his son, family and friends; fishing and enjoyed anything that had a motor and wheels and thinking how he could make it louder and faster. Scott is survived by his son, Jackson Scott Latsch of Twin Lake; his parents, Bill and Kitt Latsch of Manistique, Michigan; maternal grandfather, Darrell Patton of Hesperia; paternal grandmother, Dee Latsch of Bailey; his brother, Phillip (Judith) Higgins of Grant; his sister, Kaitlin (Shawn Beach) Latsch of Muskegon; his aunts, Kathy (Dale) Rivait of Fremont; Kris Knowles of Fremont. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale Latsch, Peggy Pedersen, Sally Patton; and by his aunt, Teresa Latsch.
