Shari Owczarzak, age 47 of Holton, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Shari was born on May 7, 1961 in Wheeling, WV to James and Patricia (Stillon) Barcus and met and later married Tom Owczarzak on May 24, 1986 in Moundsville, WV. Shari moved to the Fremont area in 1991 from Moundsville and had worked as a nurses aid at Transitional Health Services and then owned and operated Cushman Creek Primitives in Holton. Shari was most recently excited about being Grammy to her new grandson, Logan. She was an arts, crafts and antique entrepreneur and collector and dealer of eclectic art pieces and loved animals. SURVIVORS: her husband, Tom of Holton; her son, Shane (Roxanne) Kammer of Twin Lake; her grandson, Logan Kammer; her mother, Pat Barcus of Steubenville, OH; sisters and brothers, Kim Martin; Jim Barcus both of Steubenville, OH; Mike (Jennifer) Barcus of Martins Ferry, OH; Dana Melvin of Imperial, PA; many special nieces and nephews; her father and mother-in-laws, Bun & Pat Heiden of Holton; many beloved animals at home. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev. Father Peter Chukwu of the All Saints Catholic Church and Pastor Jerry Mack of the Country Bible Church presiding.
