Sharon Kay Bower, age 76, of Bitely passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Spectrum Health Services – Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Sharon was born on September 4, 1945, in Fremont to Jacob and Ethel Janet (Osborn) Berwald and had worked as a bartender and Certified Nurses Aide. Sharon enjoyed traveling, making diamond art, and spending time with her family. Sharon is survived by her children, Bruce (Antonitte) Bower of Blue Lake, Shelly (Larry) Welch of Grant, Leroy (Bethany) Bower of Ishpeming, and Precilla Mae Bower of Bitely; grandchildren, Bruce Bower II, Erica Bower, Troy Fetterhoff, Ryan Fetterhoff, Joel Bower, Coley Newton, Benjamin Newton, Alisha Newton, and Alexander Newton; 8 great-grandchildren; sister and brother, Debra Daunt and Daniel Berwald; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Berwald and sister, Bonnie Bower. There will not be any services at this time.
