Sharon Lee Daniels, age 77 of Newaygo, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at her home. Sharon was born on December 2, 1940 in Grand Rapids to William Russell and Hazel Mildred (Timmons) Heyboer and later married Gerald Oliver Daniels on September 5, 1966 in Grand Rapids. Gerald preceded her in death on February 14, 2017. Sharon had been an industrial sewing machine operator at the Red Flannel Factory in Cedar Springs for a period of time and was a lifelong homemaker. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, cooking, fishing, camping and campfires, watching television but especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Sharon is survived by her sons, Russell (Cindy) Daniels of Newaygo; Richard (Kimberly) Daniels of Six Lakes; her grandchildren, Brooke, Shayann, Joylynn, Melissa Jean, Miranda L. William, Joshua, Jonathon, Miranda C., Madelyn C.; 3 great grandchildren, Keylee, Carlisle, and Gavin. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; her son, Robert Daniels on December 9, 2011; her grandchildren, Robert Jr., Brian Lee and A.J.; her daughter-in-law, Tammie. A time of remembrance and celebration will be on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 3pm - 5pm at the Croton American Legion 6812 S Croton Hardy Drive Newaygo MI 49337 . Friends are asked to bring a dish to pass to share in fellowship with the family.
