Sharon M. Schroeder, age 69 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont following a lingering illness. Sharon was born on December 11, 1946 in Muskegon to Glen and Joyce (Bacon) Rice and later married Gene Schroeder on May 23, 1964 in Muskegon. Gene preceded her in death on December 18, 2010. Sharon has been a resident of the White Cloud area for the past 26 years where she owned and operated White Cloud Trade until her retirement. Sharon enjoyed working in her store - visiting with people and meeting new friends; enjoyed gaming/Pepsi, shopping; and especially treasured the time spent with her family and grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her children, Sue (Mark) Allen-Golliver of White Cloud; Karen (Leo) Stout of White Cloud; Kimberly (David) Beets of Fremont; 7 grandchildren, Thomas, Tracen, Bryan, Tammy, Alexandrea, Phillip, Emilee; 4 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her parents, Glen and Joyce Rice of Muskegon; her sisters, Dianne (Tom) Priest of Muskegon; Nancy (Dennis) Cook of Muskegon. VISITATION : Sunday, July 31. 2016 from 1-2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel (7193 W 48th Street Fremont MI 49412) with MEMORIAL SERVICES: Sunday at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Pastor Phil Jones of the Aetna Calvary Church presiding. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Transitional Health Services Patient Fund.
