Sharon N. Shell, age 78 of Hesperia, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2020 at her home. Sharon was born on October 6, 1941 in Greenwood Township to Bill and Nettie (Knapp) Frees and later married Marlyn Stanley Shell on July 12, 1958 in Fremont. Marlyn preceded her in death on June 15, 2009. Sharon has been a lifelong resident of the Hesperia area where she had been a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, shopping with Carlene and television shopping, collecting Elvis memorabilia, but truly treasured the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her daughters, Marlita (Glenn) Grey of Hesperia; Carlene (Charles) Parmer of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan; her grandchildren, Jeff (Kristina) Grey of Fremont; Brian (Kathy) Grey of Fremont; Trisha Parmer of Sault St. Marie; Michelle Parmer of Sault Ste. Marie; Jessica Parmer of Tempe, Arizona; Kevin Parmer of Sault Ste. Marie; 7 great grandchildren, Trenton Alexander; Brinley Grey; Kalliope Grey; Ashton Grey; Emma Parmer; Odin Grey; Allie Parmer; her brothers and sister, Lowell Frees of Fremont; Duane Frees of Hesperia; Diane (Terry) Musk of Muskegon; Roger Knapp of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Marlyn; her daughter, Darla Mae Shell on August 16, 1985; her brothers, Ron Frees and Darrel Frees; her sister, Clara Albright; sisters-in-laws, Linda Frees and Jackie Frees GRAVESIDE SERVICES : Friday, July 31, 2020 at 4:30pm at the Ferry Township South Cemetery 1600 E.
