Sharon Louise Sweers, age 80 of Hart, formerly of Sparta, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at her home following her battle with cancer.  Sharon was born on October 20, 1943 in Wyandotte, Michigan to Loren  Sylvester and Louise Lillian (Rutz) Tingley and later married Bruce Sweers on October 16, 1965 in Grand Rapids.  Sharon had been a rural mail carrier at the Rockford Post Office for 23 years until her retirement and then Sharon and Bruce moved to the Hart area where they have spent the past 18 years of their retirement.  Sharon loved horses, as well as many other farm animals on their hobby farm in Sparta and enjoyed camping, golfing and the Michigan outdoors.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bruce of Hart; her sons, Bruce A. Sweers of Sparta; Brian (significant other, Melanie) Sweers of Kent City; grandchildren, Brianne Sweers of Grand Rapids; Morgan (James) Hofstra of Cedar Springs; Nolan Sweers of Kent City; great grandchildren, Ainsley, Eloise, and Daxton; her daughter-in-law, Ruth Sweers of Kent City; sister-in-law, Jan Tingley.  Sharon was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Miller and by her brother, Larry Tingley.
