Sharon Aletta Toth, age 80 of Newaygo, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at the Newaygo County Compassion Home in Fremont following her battle with cancer.  Sharon was born on September 17, 1943 in Brohman to Ovia and Degina (Hamlin) Lord and later married James "Jim" Toth on May 13, 1961.  Sharon has been a lifelong resident of the Newaygo area and had been a school bus driver for Tri-County – Howard City Schools for several years until her retirement.  Sharon enjoyed gardening, breakfasts with her girlfriends; mushroom hunting, tending her chickens, motorcycle riding with Jim in their younger years and she loved all her pets.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim of Newaygo; her son, Rick (Corinne) Toth of Newaygo; her daughter, Beth (Shannon) Toth of Kentwood; her grandchildren, Samantha, Glenn, Barbara, and Russell Toth; her sister, Irelee Everhart; several brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews.  Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Ovia and Degina; her brother, Eugene Lord; sisters, Trudy Brugman; Joan Porter; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Frank and Marge Toth.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES : Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Oakgrove Cemetery 8279 Elm Ave Newaygo MI 49337.  Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Newaygo County Compassion Home 20 S.
