Sharon Eva Ward Kiester, age 89, of Fremont passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Sharon was born on December 30, 1932, in Mishawaka, Indiana to Howard Harold and Mayme May (Fisher) Kronewitter and married Marshall Kiester. She later married Glenn A. Ward in 1967. Sharon loved raising dogs and enjoyed flower gardening and watching birds and the deer. Sharon is survived by her sons, Bill (Betty Ann) Kiester of Grant, Mike (Diane) Kiester of Fremont, Greg Kiester of Fremont, Tim Kiester of Barrien Springs, and Glenn (Amber) Ward of White Cloud; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and sister, Cora Hendrix. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marshall and Glenn; sons, Bob Kiester and Randy Ward; brothers and sisters, Harry Kronewitter, Joe Kronewitter, Nila Laisure, Jean Nelson, and Ann Moyer.
