Sharron E. Tozer, age 70 of Hesperia, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Sharron was born on Dec. 1, 1940 in Fremont to Gerald and Crystal (Johnson) Booher and graduated from Hesperia High School and later received her associated degree in business from Ferris State. She later married Jerry Tozer on June 21, 1961 in Hesperia. Sharron had worked at Howmet until her retirement in 1980 and then she started work at the Hesperia Public Schools as the athletic coordinator for 17 years until retirement. Sharron had served on the Hesperia School Board for several years and had been active in the Labor Unions of her work places and enjoyed being involved in politics. Sharron also enjoyed reading, baking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. SURVIVORS : her husband of 51 years, Jerry of Hesperia; her children, Toni (Billy) Rumsey; Mark (Wendy) Tozer; Dawn (Henry) Zuniga all of Hesperia; her grandchildren, Lisa (Shawn) Montague; Michael Rumsey; Celina Zuniga; Jerry Tozer; Mary Tozer; Katie Zuniga; her brothers and sisters, Mike (Linda) Booher; C.J. (Connie) Booher; Bill (Jackie) Booher; Nancy (Jerry) Robinson; Rae Lynn (Gene) Thompson; Laura (Raymond) Thompson all of Hesperia; her great uncles, Mark Booher, Quinn Booher, Jim Booher, and Dennis Booher; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Crystal Booher, son-in-law, Rick Norberg; brother-in-law, David Fell. VISITATION : Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 4-7pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. INTERMENT : East Hesperia Cemetery.
