Shawn Marie VanNatter, age 50, of Fremont went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2019, following a lingering illness. Shawn was born on November 20, 1968, in Muskegon to Gerald Martin and Deanna Kay (Frisbie) Wynne. She was a longtime care provider in the area, working at ARC Deerfield and Dallas Homes. She enjoyed fishing, watching football, and spoiling her animals – especially her "grand-dog" Bear. Shawn was a member of the Church Of The Living Christ in Fremont. Shawn is survived by her sons, Kevin Allan VanNatter "KJ"of Newaygo and Brent Allan (Dusti) VanNatter of Bridgeton; grandchildren, Mandi Cooper, Mariah VanNatter, and Trent VanNatter; brother and sister, Rodney (Rhonda Prell) McMiller of North Muskegon and Trisha (Troy) Cressman of Twin Lake; niece and nephews, Eric McMiller, Evan McMiller, and Savannah Cressman. She was preceded by her parents, Gerald and Deanna. Funeral services will be held 4 PM on Monday, March 18, 2019, at the Church Of The Living Christ in Fremont with Rev. Tom Jasperse officiating. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service at the Church from 3 – 4 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
