Sheri J. Lynnes, age 65, of Robbinsville, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011, at Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Sheri was born on April 10, 1946, in Grand Rapids to Donald and Verabelle (Lancaster) Willis and married Lee Lynnes on November 20, 1971, at St. Marks Episcopal Church in Newaygo. Sheri was a book keeper for Blaine Stewart Contractors in North Carolina and served as a paramedic on the EMS and Graham County Rescue Squad in North Carolina. Sheri was a member of the Grace Mountainside Church and along with Lee, enjoyed dancing, clogging, antiquing, and Civil War reenacting. Sheri is survived by her husband Lee, of Robbinsville; children, Tara (Jeff) Bee of Naples, Florida and Tory (Rebecca) Lynnes of Robbinsville; 2 grandchildren, Joshua and Julia; sister and brother, Vicki (Russell) Moulton of Newaygo and Jay (Kimberly) Willis of Muskegon; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating Sheris life will be held at 4 PM, on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at the St. Marks Episcopal Church in Newaygo with Rev. Mary Frens-String officiating.
