Sherilyn Dawn Moon, age 75, of Fremont passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at the Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence - Harbor Hospice in Muskegon. Sheri was born on December 28, 1945, in Muskegon to William Avert and Doris May (Townsend) Schurkamp and married Erwin Lloyd Moon on June 30, 1962, in North Muskegon. Sheri enjoyed casino slots, bingo, and karaoke singing. Sheri is survived by her children, Dave (Ruth) Moon of Holton and Paulette Moon of Fremont; 6 grandchildren, Anthony Robins of Howard City, Miranda (Jon) Robins-Vilchez of San Diego, Courtney Robins of San Diego, Danielle Moon-Hill of Belleville, Rachel Moon of Florida, and Christopher (Heather) Moon of Grand Rapids; 4 great grandchildren, Keegan, Chaize, Kryztofer, and Alvin; sister, Sandra Crumbley of Florida; and many special friends. She was preceded by her husband, Erwin; and brothers, Michael Schurkamp and Wayne Schurkamp. Interment will be in Twin Lake Cemetery.
