Sherman Fredric Sutherland, age 52, of White Cloud passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at his home unexpectedly with his wife by his side. Sherman was born on June 7, 1970, in Fremont to Roger Ellis and Jean Alice (King) Sutherland and married Treasure Lynne Downs. Sherman owned a power washing business and had been a construction foreman for over 25, years. He enjoyed working on cars and could fix just about anything. Sherman was known as a hard worker. He loved his family and took pride in providing for them. Sherman is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Treasure; children, Robin Jean Long of White Cloud, Casey Tyler Downs of White Cloud, Sabrina (Taite Durham) of White Cloud, and Felicia Lynne Sutherland of White Cloud; grandchildren, Kalvin James Long, Carter James Schmuck, Hunter William Anderson, Hailey Jean Anderson, Austin Andrew "Aussie Bear" Anderson, Lillian Rain Redinger, Dallas Walker Downs, Denver Michael Downs, and Kannon Fredric "Little Fast Freddie" Durham; mother, Jean Sutherland; brothers and sisters, Barb (Jeff Triplett) King of Croton, Pauline (Lloyd) Labelle of White Cloud, Herman (Rhonda) Sutherland (Sherman's twin brother) of White Cloud, and Rodney Sutherland of White Cloud; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jake King and Bill Schaefer. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Sutherland in 2011, and grandmother, Ellen Sutherland in 2021. He valued those that help him with his business, especially Joey Sutherland, Eli Miller, and Ryan Miller. Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the Crandell Funeral in White Cloud with Bishop James Fader officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home prior to the service from 12 noon to 3 PM. Memorial contributions may be given to the family. Interment will be in Big Prairie Cemetery.
