Shirley A. Ehrke, age 71 of Hesperia, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at her home following a short illness. Shirley was born on June 5, 1945 in Fremont and was raised by her parents, Robert and Vera (Mooney) Jankowski. Shirley had lived in the Grand Rapids area for several years where she foster cared for many children and owned several business until her retirement. Shirley then moved to the Hesperia area where she enjoyed volunteering in the community, helping others and exercising at Tamarac in Fremont. Shirley is survived by her children, Edwin Ehrke of Hesperia; Jason (Ricki) Bremer of Bridgeton; Jaime (Jason) Davis of Hesperia; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 adopted children; several brothers and sisters. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Vera Jankowski. VISITATION : Monday, June 27, 2016 from 1-3pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with FUNERAL SERVICES on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 3pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel following the visitation.
