Durkee, Shirline F. (Tucker) Shirline F. (Tucker) Durkee, age 75 of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at her home following a short illness. Shirline was born on February 17, 1935 to Shirley and Evelyn (Tower) Tucker in Saranac and married Gordon Durkee on July 17, 1954. She is survived by her husband, Gordon; her children, David (Mary) Durkee of Lowell; Brian (Nancy) Durkee of Battle Creek; Kathy (Robert) Klawieter of Rockford; Lisa (Norm) Brummel of Fremont; 8 granchildren; Paul (Rebecca) Durkee; Jenny Durkee; Sara Durkee; Amanda Durkee; Lauren Klawieter; Alicia Brummel; Courtney Klawieter; Ethan Brummel. Private graveside services were held at the Saranac Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Michigan.
