Joseph Stanley Jewell, age 75 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, March 05, 2014 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Stanley was born on June 6, 1938 in Honor, Michigan to Lyle Joseph and Ida DeEtta (Parks) Jewell and later married Louise A. Prang on August 9, 1958 in Hesperia. Stanley had worked at the General Electric in Holland, CWC in Muskegon and later retired from the Michigan Fruit Canning in South Haven. Stanley and Louise moved to the White Cloud area in 1979 from South Haven and enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. Stanley was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of the Faith Bible Church in White Cloud. Stanley is survived by his wife, Louise of White Cloud; his daughters, Cindy Cole of White Cloud; Patricia (Ed) Glover of Taylorsville, North Carolina; his grandchildren, David (Kelly), Amanda, Virginia, Joseph, Thomas, Sarah (Byron), and Janet (Bill); several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; his sister, Verbie King of Flint; sisters-in-laws, Edna Becker of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; Margaret Williams of Medway, Ohio; brother-in-law, Herman (Marissa) Becker of White Cloud. VISITATION : Monday, March 10, 2014 from 10-12pm at the Faith Bible Church in White Cloud. FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, March 10, 2014 at 12pm at the Faith Bible Church with military rites given at the church. INTERMENT : Sherman Township Cemetery.
