Starr Lynn (Woodland) Counselor, age 45 of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Fremont. Starr was born on May 25, 1972 in Muskegon to Robert E. and Sharon K. (Martin) Woodland and has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area. Starr had worked at Colors Paintball in Fremont for many years. Starr enjoyed watching movies, antiquing, loved her animals, but especially treasured the time she spent with her family. Starr's love was her 3 sons and lived every day for them. Starr is survived by her sons, Tyler Vincent of Fremont; Dakota Counselor of Muskegon; Alex Varela of Fremont; her brothers and sister, Randy Woodland of Fremont; Rocky Woodland of Twin Lake; Ronald (Carol) Woodland of Holland; Rick (Sherry) Woodland of Grant; Robin Orduña; many nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Starr was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sharon Woodland and her sister, Terri Sue Stanfield in 2005.
