Stella Lyznicki, age 95 of Spring Lake, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, Boulder, Colorodo, and Port Richey, Florida, passed away Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Sanctuary at the Shore Nursing Center in Grand Haven, Stella was born on April 25, 1915 in Chicago to Joseph and Agnes Wrobel and later married Edward P. Lyznicki Sr. on November 24, 1937 in Chicago. Edward preceded her in death. Stella had been a funeral attendant, assisting her husband at the Lyznicki Funeral Chapel in Chicago until retirement. Stella was a member of St. Blase Catholic Church where she had been active for many years. Stella also enjoyed dancing and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Stella will be remembered for her ever present smile. Stella is survived by her son, Edward Lyznicki Jr. of Holton; 2 granddaughters, Wendy (Joe) Cossey of Spring Lake; Melissa (Don) Suva of Berkeley, California; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie and by her brother, John. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held at a later time at the St. Blase Catholic Church in Chicago.
